The Param Vir Chakra Gallery

The Sound and Light Show is typically held in the evening after 6:30 PM, taking advantage of the natural darkness to create a mesmerizing play of light and shadow. It offers a unique form of entertainment that combines education and visual delight.

The show is a multimedia spectacle that uses narration, sound effects, and lighting to narrate Ladakh’s history, highlighting its significant events, cultural heritage, and the bravery of its people.

No Entry ticket is required for the sound & light show separately. The ticket purchased for the museum visit can be presented for entry. 

A few important information when you are planning for a visit to Leh Palace. 

The palace is around 4 kilometers from the city center. The following are the several ways to get to Leh Palace.

1. Local Taxi
   The taxi union can help you find a local cab. They would charge you around Rs 350 per side for the tour.
2. Local Bike
   You can travel independently by renting a bike at the Leh market.
